Exam Fees
$65 Wellness Exam/Consultation – A wellness exam or consultation is for any patient who does not have signs of illness or concerns as their reason for booking the appointment. This exam can be used for any species. This appointment type is often associated with annual vaccinations and examinations to fulfill the VCPR (Veterinarian-Client-Patient-Relationship) in order to refill long-term medications and flea/tick/heartworm.
$95 Illness or Injury Exam and/or $115 Extended Consultation and/or Emergency Exam $125– A injury/illness exam and/or consultation is for any patient who has a diagnosed illness or condition or is currently showing new symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, limping, not eating, having diarrhea, vomiting, itching, skin infection, ear infection, urinating a lot, drinking a lot, etc.
$250 Quality of Life Assessment and Hospice/Palliative Care Consultation – A quality of Life Assessment and Hospice/Palliative Care Consultation is for a patient and their family who are close to needing to make end-of-life decisions. The goal is to evaluate the pet’s quality of life, such as their activities of enjoyment and their current level of adaptation and coping to any medical conditions. Areas of discussion include pain management options and palliative measures that can be taken to improve their pain control, appetite, hydration, and mobility.
