Dr. Victoria Impett

Dr. Victoria Impett

Veterinarian

Dr. Impett grew up in San Francisco, California. It has been her lifelong dream to be a veterinarian. Her elementary school teachers recall her always saying she would be a veterinarian when she grew up. She received her bachelor’s in Zoology from the University of Washington and her associate’s degree in Animal Sciences from Foothill College. She worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician in humane societies, private practice, and emergency medicine before deciding to go back to veterinary school. She graduated from the Western University of Health Sciences in 2010. Dr. Impett pursued advanced training at VCA Emergency Animal Hospital and Referral Center in San Diego, CA. She continues to have a passion for shelter medicine and animal rehabilitation and is certified in stem cell therapy.

Dr. Impett’s experience working with unowned, abused, and neglected shelter animals has motivated her to help more people recognize and celebrate the value and benefits of the human-animal bond. She opened Impett Veterinary in 2020 in order to better help pet owners with their veterinary needs in the comfort and convenience of their own home. It was her goal to provide quality, personalized, stress free veterinary care to animals in her community and therefore continue to positively impact the health and well being of animals.

Her interests outside of work include cooking, camping, hiking, and spending time with her two daughters, dogs, cockatoo, and many foster kittens.
